Shreveport, Louisiana Boudoir Photographer | Boudoir Session & Tips

I had such a blast getting to know Amber! We talked for months and months about the perfect outfits and all the ideas. I love how determined she was to do it for herself. I remember her says, β€œlet me pay now so I will do it.” I could tell all the emotions were high because of everything she has been through. Being nervous and excited at the same time is the best part. Her nerves turned into JUST excitement while she was getting her hair done. She even enjoyed a glass of mimosa to loosen up. That always helps when nerves are bad. She knew she deserved a boudoir session for herself. She solely did it for herself. That means the world to me when ladies trust me to capture their beauty. <3

At the ordering session, her and her significant other ooooo and ahhhhhh the entire time. Her significant other could not even help her choose between color and BW because he loved them both so much. It melts my heart to see the men just as excited as the women. Being supportive is the best thing you can do for each other. I can not wait to see them next year for their couple session. ;)

TIPS

  • TRUST ME AND THE PROCESS!

  • NO spray tans - I typically edit darker so I promise I can help your skin tone more without a spray tan.

  • Wear loose clothing to your session so no lines are visible.

  • Do not STRESS over posing and angles, I promise I got you.

  • STRETCH before because you will be sore tomorrow.

  • Wax three days prior so you are not super red or have bumps.

TIPS

  • If you are doing a couple session - matching sets are awesome.

  • Come with no makeup and a clean face.

  • Wash and dry hair the day before.

  • Be sure to have your hair done for any roots showing.
