Shreveport, Louisiana Boudoir Photographer | Heather and Evan's Session

DSC_5232.jpg

Heather and Evan do a yearly boudoir experience. It gets better and better each year. I can tell how much they have opened up since they first started. This is their second year and Heather did two sessions prior. I love how connected they are when doing the session. We always laugh and chat the entire time. It is like we are bestfriends now. Evan even got us lunch and we sat down to chat. Each session is personalized with my undivided attention. It gets SPICER EVERY YEAR. We have already started to plan next year. What an awesome way to celebrate your anniversary! They fell in love with their beautiful acrylic album. They decided to do a 10x10 instead of the 8x8 last year. I can’t lie, it is simply amazing. I am so glad they went bigger this year. Acrylic albums are the most popular product.

Heather got her hair and makeup done while Evan got to relax. Heather decided to go bold with darker eyes and red lips. She did her hair and nails for the session and SHE SLAYED. I love how open and bold she is. Half the time, they didn’t even know I was there (besides for posing). Bondage was a great bonus they added on to their session. You can add on extra outfits, shower scene, bondage, in house massage, and SOOO much more. Greeeeen has also been such a popular color with the ladies lately. Having a client close really showed me how many ladies love going out of their comfort zone. It’s like a pampering day where I can style and guide you based on your preferences.

ARE YOU WANTING A COUPLE BOUDOIR BUT TOO NERVOUS?

  1. What if my spouse is not okay with it?

I always hate hearing this because I can tell how excited some are until they get shot down. Have a conversation with your spouse on boundaries. What you want, what you don’t want, and what yall can do. I am more than willing to have a three way call.

  2. Do you have spouses who hate the idea?

Yes. I have lost count of the ladies who told me their spouse objected. It’s all about DO YOU DESIRE IT? Having deep conversations about your wants and needs will help. It takes time for some spouses because they don’t understand the concept.

  3. What is the concept of couple boudoir?

TO HAVE SOME FUN! You know how some couples go on vacation or go on hikes? Some do couple boudoir. It brings adventure, adrenaline, and passion. Something outside your comfort zone. 9/10 women do it solo first then do a couple. Boudoir is not only for women. I have had husbands tell me how amazing they felt and how much confidence they gained.

  4. What if my spouse gets wet/boner?

I would be shocked if they didn’t because of the heat of the moment. However, my job is to stay professional while focusing on capturing your intimate moments. That is not a concern whatsoever.

  5. My spouse is a go but no nude. Is that okay?

ABSOLUTELY! Some have the impression you have to be nude. I have had couples with jeans and shirts. It is totally up to you and your comfort level. Several do come back to get SPICER.

  6. What do we need to expect?

After you book, I will send over all the information needed for a smooth experience. I want to know everything about you and your partner. It will help make the experience unique. We can also get on the phone to discuss ideas, colors, and products. You two will come in or just the one who wants makeup. We will get started with makeup and hair plus refreshments. Laugh, jam, and get comfortable. You will be able to try on outfits before and after. I encourage spouses to bring their outfits so we can coordinate. I will help style and guide you the entire time. We will discuss specific poses and just let loose. 1-2 weeks after the session, you get to return to see the photographs on a slideshow. That is when you will purchase your digitals and products.

  7. Have you ever done nude with both parties?

    Yes.

  8. What do you clients typically spend?

Session fee is separate so you are able to customize your own collection. You only have to pay $500 to reserve your spot and that includes everything for your session. Create-A-Collection begins at $1,200. You only purchase what you love. On average, couples spend $2,500 between products and digitals.

  9. How far out do you book?

Usually 3-4 months. It is best to book 6-7 months in advance. It will give us time to plan your session. You will also be able to prepare better. I am currently booking into April 2022.
