Shreveport, Louisiana Boudoir Photographer | Prepping My Own Experience

I am 7 months away from my own experience. I have decided to fly to out to Georgia to do my own couple boudoir session. I have always wanted to go explore Georgia so I figured it would be the perfect chance for a getaway. We have so much planned while we are there. This will also be our first time flying which makes me nervous. Can you believe it’s FINALLY my turn? I have waited years for this. Guess what? I have more acne and gained weight. Guess what? I don’t care. I am still excited for the whole experience. I have been researching and prepping for months already. I definitely wanted my husband in on the experience. Shockingly he is excited too.

I have my outfits, flight booked, hotel booked, and photographer booked. I am just waiting on my husband’s outfit. Once I am closer to the date, I will get waxed and my nailed done. Ahhh. I have no idea what color to do either. Thankfully she provided hair and makeup too. So I will just get it done that day. I have to pack weeks before because I am nervous I will forget certain things. Right now I am nothing but excited. I know when the time get here, I will get more nerves. I will finally get to feel how my ladies feel so I can direct my attention to their needs and wants. This will open my eyes for different reasons. I know it will grow my confidence while giving me feedback. This experience will not only help me but help my clients too.

I honestly thought family sessions were a lot of prepping but boudoir is definitely more for me. Maybe because I am actually going out of state. I just want everything to be perfect but I think that’s just how I am. I am following my prep guide to a T. If you have any recommendations or tips, feel free to share.
